It dynamically increases its power output in response to any increase in system load, ensuring a stable power environment for successful reprogramming. The voltage output range of the PL6100 can be adjusted between 13.1-14.9V in increments of 0.1V, allowing operators to match the specifications provided by the vehicle supplier.

The PL6100 exhibits rapid load responsiveness, enabling it to quickly recover from system demand increases. It delivers power with minimal voltage ripple, ensuring a clean and interference-free flow of power to the vehicle.

When operating in charging mode, the PL6100 utilizes advanced microprocessor-controlled logic to deliver a fully automatic charging routine that optimally charges and maintains each battery or battery pack being serviced. It supports a wide range of lead acid battery types including Conventional, AGM, Spiral Wound, Start-Stop, Deep Cycle, and Marine batteries.

This can involve activating a soft start mode for deeply discharged batteries, a battery repair mode for older or distressed batteries, and temperature compensation when charging in extreme temperatures.

To ensure safety, the PL6100 incorporates various features. These include over-voltage protection, reverse polarity protection, smart clamp technology, and battery fault detection.

Additionally, the PL6100 offers a variety of charging modes, including 60/40/10A modes, which enable quick and efficient charging of batteries of all sizes. It also includes a forced start mode, allowing it to charge completely dead batteries.

The PL6100 comes with an extra-long 13-foot cable reach, providing flexibility and convenience during operation. However, it requires a 20A service for optimal performance.
